ADEDOYIN SALAMI, PhD
Dr. Salami is an Economist with over two decades of practical professional experience. He is a doctoral degree graduate of Queen Mary College, University of London. In addition to being one of the Principal Partners at Kainos Edge Consulting, he is concurrently a member of the faculty at Lagos Business School (LBS), where he is Senior Fellow. At LBS he leads sessions in economic environment of business, and had also served as director of programmes for five years until January 2005.
He also participates in public policy making – presently, he is a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria and was previously a member of the Federal Government’s Economic Management Team during President Yar ‘Adua’s Administration. He served as the Vice-Chairman of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari’s Transition Committee in 2015. He is a member of the IMF Advisory Group on Sub-Saharan Africa (AGSA). Dr Salami’s research interests include: issues in corporate long-term financial management; macroeconomic policy; corporate competitiveness and risk management; and characteristics of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
